Frank Lampard and Chelsea recorded a major victory in the London Derby at Stamford Bridge on Saturday at the expense of his injured Jose Mourinho and Tottenham. The Blues, who had no trouble registering 1: 2 in the critical battle for the top 4 in the Premier League, were tied for fourth with 44 points, and are now four points away from the injured Roosters, who suffered a ninth loss this season in the local arena.
So what did we have? Chelsea got on the board just after fifteen minutes after Giroux kicked but Loris was able to fend off, Barkley fired the rebound to the beam and for the third time, the French striker kicked a sharp ball into the corner and scored his first hair of the season.
Four minutes into the second half, the Blues captured the beautiful goal of the game: The move from Mount's legs continued with a light touch to Barkley that left Alonso, a wonderful shot from the second from 18 yards, 0: 2 to Chelsea and Lampard. In the 89th minute, Mourinho only achieved a shredding goal with Rudiger's self (89).
Bottom line, Chelsea is strong in fourth place, but if Manchester City's penalty is not eliminated and Tottenham does not drop out of fifth place, there is a high chance that the Roosters will also be seen in the Champions League qualifier next season.
