The Manchester City of Pep Guardiola took an option for the quarter-finals of the Champions League by winning Thursday, in the round of first leg, on the lawn of Real Madrid Zinedine Zidane (1-2). Isco had the score for the Madrilenians (60th) but Gabriel Jesus (78th) then De Bruyne (83rd) allowed the Mancunians to win at the Santiago Bernabeu. Hard cut for the Merengue, they finished ten after the expulsion of Sergio Ramos (86th). The return match at the Etihad Stadium is scheduled for March 17.
