"He has a slight elongation and will have to rest for five days," said his coach Hansi Flick this Wednesday on the Bayern official website. "Fortunately he does not suffer from any serious injury," added the press release from the Bavarian club. The three-color international (22 caps, 4 goals) should not miss, in principle, the trip to Hoffenheim on Saturday (3.30pm) for the 24th day of the Bundesliga.

The former Juventus player had suffered a tear in the left knee joint capsule on December 11, 2019 against Tottenham (3-1). This injury had kept him off the pitch for two months. Since his return, he has participated in three Bundesliga games.
