Finsing - The premiere was a success: 24 teams in four age groups participated in the first indoor tournament of the JFG reservoir in the new double gym in Finsing. And it was a complete success.
Board member Claus Tebert admits: “We had mixed feelings about the upcoming premiere. The emotional state constantly changed from anticipation to slight concerns whether we really thought of everything to make the tournament to the satisfaction of the active players and the spectators. ”In view of the lively visit to the hall, the concerns after the opening speech and the first referee whistle were quick gone. The fans and parents of the players were thrilled with the games and loudly supported their teams.
"Experience instead of result"
Everyone played in groups of six against everyone. In the B-juniors, the SG Oberhummel topped the table with 13 points and thus won the tournament just before JFG Speichersee 2. The hosts were then successful with the C-youth. The following day, twelve teams started the D1 and D2 tournaments. The JFG Speichersee teams took fourth and fifth place here.
True to the motto "experience instead of result", the organizer naturally had small trophies for all children at the award ceremony. The joy and enthusiasm among the children was correspondingly great. Sebastian Lange, Markus Raßhofer, Florian Neubert, Claus Tebart, Antonio Zubaric, Tobias Forchhammer and Marius Hersen acted as referees.
The first tournament in club history
In addition to sports enthusiasts, political celebrities also gave themselves the honor. In addition to the board of directors of the two JFG parent clubs, Ivonne Hermannsdorfer (SpVgg Neuching) and Dieter Heilmair (FC Finsing), the Mayor of Finsing, Max Kressierer, was also happy to speak at the various award ceremonies and presented the prizes to the participants. The last award ceremony at the end of the event was held by Waldemar Hinzmann from Elkhaus, who generously supported the tournament.
A visibly accomplished but satisfied Claus Tebert sums up: “I would like to express a huge thank you to all of our helpers who sacrificed their entire weekend for the club. For me and my board colleagues, this first tournament in the club's history was a complete success. To be continued - I promise. "
