Manchester City, England, turned their backseat against Real Madrid by winning two goals to one goal today in the match played by the Santiago Bernabeu in the first leg of the 16th round of the Champions League.
City captain Gabriel Jesus and Kevin de Bruyne scored in the 78th and 83rd minutes while Real's only goal was scored by Isco in the 60th minute of the match.
Sergio Ramos, captain of Real Madrid, was sent off in the 86th minute, and he will therefore miss the second leg, which will be held on March 17th, at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester.
In another match, the French Lyon won a difficult victory over its Italian Juventus, with a clean goal in their match against Groupama Stadium in the same round.
Lucas Tossart scored the match's only goal in the 31st minute.
Lyon is due to visit Juventus on March 17 against Allianz Stadium in the second leg of the quarter-final match.
