Kaiserslautern (dpa) - In a dispute between the leadership of the third division soccer team 1. FC Kaiserslautern and the ex-goalkeeper coach Gerry Ehrmann, there was no agreement in a conversation.
Both sides have exchanged their contrary views and want to meet again at the next week, the Palatinate said. Until then, both Ehrmann and the club do not want to comment further on the matter in public. For this reason, the FCK canceled a press conference planned for Thursday with advisory board director Markus Merk, advisory board member Martin Weimar and managing director Soeren Oliver Voigt.
Ehrmann announced legal action after his expulsion on February 23. The 61-year-old, who played more than 300 games for the Red Devils from 1984 to 1998 and helped as a goalkeeper coach on the Betzenberg, among others Kevin Trapp, Tim Wiese and Roman Weidenfeller, to a career in the Bundesliga and the national team, applies to the FCK Fans as a cult figure.
