Syrian international referee Amjad Obaid participated in the French Open Karate Championship in the World League, which recently concluded its competitions in the French capital, Paris.
The Sana Sports Bulletin met the referee Obaid, who stressed the importance of participating in world championships and proving the merit of the Syrian referee in the tournaments, indicating that the tournament witnessed strong competitions and distinguished players with high performance because the tournament came at the beginning of the season and the start of the countdown to the Olympic Games that will be held in Tokyo next June.
Obaid said that all the participating players from several countries are classified and made great efforts to raise their rankings and get the highest ranking and present their best in this tournament.

It is noteworthy that the referee Amjad Ubaid was born in 1976 and holds a degree in economics from the University of Damascus and the international badge of arbitration after his participation in the activities of the arbitration session in Kata in the World Championship that took place in Indonesia in 2015 and the Asian international badge in 2013 and is the fourth Syrian referee to receive the badge He holds the 4th Dan Black Belt and participated in the arbitration of several international championships, the last of which was the American Open in Las Vegas.
