Barcelona (dpa) - Sebastian Vettel has ensured the first long interruption at the start of the Formula 1 final tests.
The Heppenheimer got his Ferrari out of curve eight on Wednesday into the gravel bed and onto the lawn. Then he turned with his SF1000. The unit was temporarily interrupted. Vettel returned to the pit with his car, marshals removed the gravel from the asphalt.
The unit was then released again. The teams will test on the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya until Friday.
