San Antonio (dpa) - Luka Doncic set a club record for the Dallas Mavericks in the North American professional professional league NBA shortly before his 21st birthday.
The Slovenian posted the 21st triple double of his career in the 109: 103 (59:49) success with archrival San Antonio Spurs. Doncic came up with 26 points, 14 assists and ten rebounds and equaled Jason Kidd. The Mavericks' best launcher was the Lette Kristaps Porzingis with 28 points. The German international Maxi Kleber scored nine points and five rebounds. As the seventh of the Western Conference, the Mavericks are clearly on the playoff course.
The Washington Wizards with Isaac Bonga and Moritz Wagner were also successful. At 110: 106 (60:47) against the Brooklyn Nets, Bradley Beal was the best thrower with 30 points - most recently he had scored more than 50 points twice in a row. Bonga ended the game with three points and six rebounds. Wagner with four points and three rebounds. As the ninth in the Eastern Conference, the wizards are now five wins behind the injured Nets and the Orlando Magic.
Daniel Theis and the Boston Celtics also clinched the next win. The German center started as usual with the Utah Jazz 114: 103 (53:51) success and showed a strong performance not only because of its 16 points and seven rebounds. The Celtics are third in the Eastern Conference.
The Houston Rockets won 140: 112 (73:47) against the Memphis Grizzlies without Isaiah Hartenstein, who has been in the development league G-League since the Allstar weekend.
