The disgraceful posters against Dietmar Hopp, which FC Bayern fans showed in the Bundesliga game in Hoffenheim, made waves. The local fan clubs have a clear opinion of the posters.

Landkreis - For Benno Adelwart, member of the FC Bayern fan club "Red Kinis '99", the thing is clear: "It is an absolute cheek what was done." What is meant by the action of some FC Bayern fans on Saturday at the Bundesliga game in Hoffenheim. There, revealing posters directed at TSG patron Dietmar Hopp were shown. "We totally reject that," said Adelwart on request. "This is not part of football."

Whoever was behind the campaign, "I don't know one hundred percent," said the Sindelsdorfer. "The whole thing comes from the Ultras." The "Red Kinis" have nothing to do with them. The fan club, which Adelwart headed for many years, is above all "an association in the village". The "Red Kinis" always take part in village life with campaigns. The club was already visited by Bastian Schweinsteiger (2010) and Thomas Müller (2019). The club has around 280 members, only a small number of them go to the stadium regularly. The games follow the “Red Kinis” mostly via “Sky” in private circles.

FC Bayern officials "reacted optimally" in the stadium

When they saw the poster campaign during the TV broadcast, they were absolutely surprised, said Adelwart. Gladbach fans had recently held up a banner that Hopp showed in a crosshair. The target “is a human being”, Adelwart points out. "You just don't do something like that, especially nowadays." The FC Bayern officials "responded optimally," said the Sindelsdorfer. The fact that the players from both teams played each other's balls at the end was “a great action”.

Alfred Schwab from the "de Eberfinger" fan club, founded in 1997, also finds the abusive posters next to it. "We are strictly against it and distance ourselves from it," says the first chairman of around 80 members. Last year six of them took the train to the away game against Hoffenheim. At that time there were no defamations towards Dietmar Hopp.

A visit from Robert Lewandowski would be a dream

Schwab heard about the events on Saturday on the radio - and was served. “We go to the stadium so that we can see good football and we can experience a nice atmosphere,” says the chairman. With such actions, as they expired on Saturday, "we have nothing to do with". It was difficult to get tickets anyway. Enough tickets so that a whole bus can go to Munich to fans, "we might get it once a year". And when the members come to the stadium, "we are never on the south curve," says Schwab.

So far, the club has welcomed three FCB stars: Paulo Sergio (2001), Louis van Gaal (2009) and Xabi Alonso (2016). "We hope that it will work out again." A dream would be a visit from Thomas Müller or Robert Lewandowski. "We'll definitely apply."

This is also interesting:

Thomas Müller is swinging the baton in Sindelsdorf - For the fans of FC Bayern in Sindelsdorf, it was as if Christmas and Easter fell on one day: FC Bayern star Thomas Müller visited them on Sunday.

A lunch with Bastian Schweinsteiger - A great Christmas wish came true for the nine-year-old Felix Neuser from Seeshaupt: a lunch with Bastian Schweinsteiger.
