Iran won two gold medals today in the World Karate Championship held in Austria.
The Iranian News Agency, IRNA, reported that the Iranian player Hamida Abbas Ali crowned the gold medal in the championship today after defeating Italian Celio Fracotti 2-1 during the final competitions to weigh over 68 kilograms for women.
The Iranian Bahman Askari won the gold medal in the championship after defeating Ukrainian Estanislao Horna 3-0 during the final match of the weight of under 75 kilograms.
The world premier karate championships 2020 started last Friday with the participation of 625 players from 88 countries in Salzburg, Austria.
