Olympique Lyonnais and AS Saint-Etienne meet on Sunday evening, as part of the 27th day of Ligue 1. The conflictual situation between the supporters of the two rival clubs has prompted the authorities to prohibit the movement of Stéphanois fans. While this decision did not take effect until midnight, the Magics Fans, ultra supporters of the Greens, took over downtown Lyon on Saturday, from 7 p.m., as they had announced in a statement at the start of the evening. They wanted to protest against this ban which deprives them, for the seventh consecutive year, of encouraging their team during the derby.
