21-year-old French skier Perrine Laffont won first place in the world mogul skiing championship, taking third place in the Almaty, Kazakhstan stage. The Olympic champion at PyeongChang thus won the third crystal globe of her young career. With three more races to go until the end of the season, Olympic champion Pyeongchang has more than 300 points ahead of her Australian runner Jakara Anthony and can no longer be joined. The competition ends in Idre Fjäll (Sweden) on March 15.
The French skier never stops dominating her discipline: after having disputed her first Olympic Games at 15 years old in Sochi in 2014, she was a gold medalist at the Pyeongchang Games last year, and won this season seven of the nine races already contested, missing the podium only once.
