Ismaning / Schliersee– It was not quite enough for the victory, but it was for top positions: In the Ismaning winter running series, Andreas Floßmann, Andreas Lenz and Benjamin Hählke from the Geiger Medius Bike Base Team were among the best runners in their respective age group.

Lenz was once again convincing: at the three-part event, he finished in the top 15 in the races over 13, 17 and 21.4 kilometers and secured sixth place in the final accounts of a total of 571 participants who competed in all three races. It went even better in the age evaluation, the MU30: Lenz ended up second there on the podium. With a total time of 3:06:23 hours, he was just six minutes short of winner Christopher Juhas (3:00:48).

But Floßmann and Hählke were also good at the runs along the Isar. With a total time of 3:34:46 hours, Floßmann ranked 49th in the final classification. The longer the distance, the longer he got. In the age group M30 it was ninth. Hählke finished 64th with 3:41:07 hours and finished 13th in the M35 age group.

The good individual results were also reflected in the team ranking. There the Geiger Medius Bike Base Team from Schliersee finished fifth with 10:22:16 hours. With a total distance of 154.2 kilometers, only 21:49 minutes were missing.
