TEV Miesbach is now collecting donations for the renovation of the Miesbach ice stadium via crowdfunding. The goal is 15,000 euros.

The energetic renovation of the Miesbach ice stadium is the largest project of the TEV Miesbach for 2020. 590,000 euros must be spent so that the hall built in 1986 is energetically up to date (we reported). The maintenance costs for energy are currently 100,000 euros, which has doubled in the past ten years. The lighting technology has already been converted to LED, now the sanitary facilities and the heating center are being modernized, for this the waste heat from the systems used for ice making is used. The renovation will save 150 tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year. The TEV has already received grants of EUR 330,000 from the federal and state governments, plus EUR 160,000 from the city of Miesbach, the rest of which the association itself has to manage.

So that this conversion can be supported by everyone, the Miesbachers are now starting a crowdfunding campaign together with the Raiffeisenbank in the Oberland. Under the motto "Many create more", donations of any amount are welcome. At www.oberlandbank.viele-schaffen-mehr.de/eissporthalle-miesbach, 100 fans will have to register in the next two weeks for the project to start. These 100 supporters don't have to donate yet.

The goal of the crowdfunding campaign of EUR 15,000 is then to be achieved in a three-month donation phase. If the amount is not reached, all donors get their money back. The Raiffeisenbank is participating in the project with up to 2500 euros. All donors who donate 100 euros or more can look forward to a special thank you from the TEV. Donation receipts can be issued.
