FC Bayern U19 failed in the Youth League after penalties on Zagreb. Despite some reinforcements from the U23, it was not enough for the next round.

FC Bayern's Under-19s are out of the round of 16 in the UEFA Youth League . Despite some reinforcements from the U23 , the team of coaching duo Martin Demichelis and Danny Schwarz lost 7-8 on home campus after a penalty shootout against Dinamo Zagreb .
Early deficit for Bayern
After just 66 seconds, Bayern were already behind. Tomislav Krizmanic scored with the first attack for the Croatian record champions. Then the Munich made the game before Zagreb increased to 2-0 in the 29th minute. Bernard Karrica , who was already preparing the Croatians' first goal, nodded in after a Roko Jurisic cross and a Leon Sipos cross .

So it was a penalty shootout! The first two Bayern shooters transformed. The next three shooters all failed to hit. A penalty was saved quickly . Likewise the guest keeper: Bayern captain Flavius Daniliuc shot weak. Tillman then scored for the Reds, as did Edinburgh Julardzija for Zagreb .
Dajaku had the decision on his feet. However, the 18-year-old shot over the goal. Tomislav Krizmanic scored for the Croatians and so it went into extra time. Cuni and Lasse Günther transformed, as did the next two shooters of the guests.
Torben Rhein was the next shooter for the Munich team - and shot. Tin Hrvoj thus had the match ball for the Croatians on the foot and transformed it. FC Bayern Munich therefore said goodbye to the competition in the round of 16.
