This measure concerns all Serie A matches, which were already disrupted last weekend with the postponement of five matches, including the clash between Juventus Turin and Inter Milan which was initially to be held behind closed doors. This concerns all sports on the peninsula and international meetings on its territory, including the poster Juventus-Lyon scheduled for March 17.

The toll of the epidemic due to the coronavirus exceeded, Wednesday, the 100 deaths in Italy, where the civil protection agency reported 107 deaths against 79 the day before.
