After a brief greeting by Haching's Vice President Peter Wagstyl and Merkur CUP General Manager Uwe Vaders, the 16 boys' circles as well as the large, this year with 29 teams, which was launched in 2013 and was launched in 2013, were drawn by girls.

30 teams from the Freising district

A total of 30 teams from Spielkreis 01 Freising are also part of the team this year - and there is an innovation for them: Because the large circles with 30 to 44 participating clubs will get three starting places in the district finals - these will be in the district final on Sunday, 17th May, played out. So far, the district of Freising was represented by two teams in the preliminary round.

Until then, the boys have to survive two preliminary rounds: the first will be held in eight groups on Saturday and Sunday, March 28 and 29. The SC Massenhausen, the SG Eichenfeld, the FCA Unterbruck and the SpVgg walls host two tournaments each. For the first two places in each group - for a total of 16 teams - the journey continues to the second preliminary round. This will take place on Saturday and Sunday, May 2nd and 3rd.

Group draws run quickly and without complications

Torsten Horn, Technical Director of the Merkur CUP, had done a great job beforehand and ensured that the 371 teams were drawn quickly and without complications. Girl game manager Manuela Lechermann was very satisfied, "especially because I already have the three organizers of the first rounds fixed." The young director of the BFV from Arget is looking forward to her first engagement as the girl manager. There are no girls teams from the Freising district this year.

Important: On Tuesday, March 24th, the kick-off event for the 26th Merkur CUP edition will take place in Unterhaching from 7 p.m. There the clubs also receive their welcome packages with T-shirts, Merkur CUP balls (for the preliminary round organizers) and current tournament booklets. Unlike in previous years, there is no obligation to attend - however, only here are the packages issued. That means: If you don't come, you should hand over your package voucher to a friend of your club and report this to mail@merkurcup.com. The personal invitations to the clubs will be sent to the youth leaders of the Merkur CUP participants in a few days.
