Lyon (dpa) - Paris Saint-Germain has voted for the return leg in the Champions League against Borussia Dortmund in a week with the confident entry into the French Cup final.
The team coached by Thomas Tuchel won 5-1 (1-1) in the semi-finals at Olympique Lyon on Wednesday. League leader PSG, who has already won the cup twelve times, but failed in the final in the penalty shootout at Stade Rennes last year, now faces the winner from the game AS St. Etienne against cup defender Rennes in the final.
In a varied match, Lyon was an equal opponent for a long time and Martin Terrier took the lead in the 11th minute. But Paris quickly struck back with German international Thilo Kehrer and came three minutes later to equalize with a goal from Kylian Mbappé after a corner kick.
After Lyon's defender Fernando Marçal had to leave the field with yellow-red after an hour, PSG turned up and scored four times in the last half hour: Neymar, who was last suspended in the league, converted a penalty kick (64th), two more hits from Mbappé (70th, 90 + 2) and a goal from Pablo Sarabia (81st) brought the clear success in the end.
