It's finally started again. After more than three months of winter break, a trend-setting spring series is on the program for the Lamotte-Elf. Dachau is currently not bad in terms of table technology (27 points, 10th place), but the distance to the relegation places is just three puny meters.
This first relegation place is currently occupied by the "second" of the second division club SSV Jahn Regensburg, and you can be sure that the Jahn will do everything to keep the reserve in the fifth division.
The Dachau people don't really know where they stand in terms of performance. One thing is clear, however, the TSV 1865 wants to maintain the Bayernliga class in all circumstances - and without the nerve-wracking relegation.
One of the most burning issues on Jahnstrasse is the offensive game. In preparation, it didn't look like you could really get a grip on the continuing calm in the storm. In five preparatory games there were only nine TSV goals to marvel at, six of which were in the match at Karlsfeld Eintracht. Against the higher-class teams like Türk Gücü Munich or SV Heimstetten, there was little convergence in the front.
Another topic is the incorporation of the young savages into the first team. The coaching team Fabian Lamotte and Alexander Weiser know: Many young talents such as Triumf Gudaci (20), Engin Malkoc (23), Darius Awoudja (19) and Felix Breuer (18) are pawing impatiently, they are all pushing into the starting line-up.
It will also be exciting to see how the not yet very old newcomer Marcel Kosuch (20) from Hebertshausen will present himself. He already has regional league experience (2018/2019), which he gained from today's opponent FC Ingolstadt II. He went through youth at FC Memmingen and SC Fürstenfeldbruck, before that he kicked at his home club SpVgg Hebertshausen, for which he ran in the F-youth.
The "second" of the third division FC Ingolstadt is in the table after a successful reconstruction in a respectable sixth place (36 points). The Lamotte charges won the first leg 3-1 in the final sprint. The goals were scored by Ryosuke Kikuchi, Alexander Weiser and Marko Todorovic. The latter is no longer part of TSV 1865 Dachau, for professional reasons he joined the up-and-coming district league team SK Srbija Munich.
Dachau's soccer boss Ugur Alkan is looking forward to the restart: “It's finally starting, which was also after a break of over a quarter of a year. We had to vary a lot in preparation to find reasonable training conditions, for units on artificial turf we had to switch to Lohhof and Fürstenfeldbruck. Nevertheless, we had intensive preparation. The last week before the point game we were able to train on our own new artificial turf - that was extremely important for us. It is still unclear whether we will play on turf or artificial turf in Ingolstadt, but we assume the artificial terrain and have prepared accordingly. In Ingolstadt we are expecting an enormously strong team, if they can combine it will be very difficult for us. We have to play cheekily and with confidence. "
Missing from the Dachau squad are Franz Hübl (on the job), Alexander Weiss (cruciate ligament rupture) and Sebastian Brey (convalescent after knee injury).
Meanwhile, another service provider has opted for an extension at Bayern's TSV 1865 Dachau. Nickoy Ricter has extended his contract by two years until 2022. Ugur Alkan is pleased: “Nickoy has developed very well with us. He is technically strong and above all has the urge to score. You already saw in the test games that he was on fire, he wanted to play.
