It was not the big relief for ASV Dachau - but should the city forests keep the class at the end of May, the 1-1 against SC Eintracht Freising may have played a decisive role.
There was added time on the artificial turf on the Dachau city forest and the ASV was close to a point win against the table fourth from Freising. Then the guests played a long ball in the top. After filing, Max Bergner brought down an Eintracht player. The referee pointed to the point - penalty. Once again, as so often in the course of the season so far, the Dachau seemed to go empty-handed after a good performance.
Hendrik Natzer saved a penalty in added time
Florian Bittner, actually a safe shooter, started, but it was not he who cheered but Hendrik Natzer, the ASV goalkeeper had deflected the ball with his foot. Immediately afterwards was over.
“We finally had a little bit of luck. That was not often the case this season, ”said Dachau coach Bernhard Ahammer, also because a lot had spoken against winning the table penultimate before the game.
In the final training, Fabian Liedl and Dennis Bergmann were injured. The latter was supposed to play a key role in the Dachau hunt for relegation, but turned his foot shortly before the end of the last training session. A precise diagnosis is still pending. Leon Schleich and Korbinian Dietrich were sick; for Dietrich Winterzugang Natzer guarded the gate. At first he had little to do because his people in front were involved from the start.
Daniel Müller met for the Freising leadership
"It was very good until the tenth minute," said Ahammer. His plan to deliver Freisings Bittner so that he couldn't hit long balls worked. But the guests were freezing cold and took the first better chance to lead. After a wide diagonal ball in the penalty area, Daniel Müller headed towards Natzers to 0: 1 (9th).
The goal hit had an effect. In the next 20 minutes, the Dachauer lacked the speed to act, in some actions they acted too quickly. Freising did not take advantage of the weak phase of the ASV. "In the quarter of an hour before the break we played braver again," said Ahammer. Shortly before the half-time whistle Michael Kornprobst came to the end of the penalty area, but he did not hit the ball properly and missed the equalization.
In the first minutes after the change of sides, both teams neutralized themselves, then the Dachau team became more offensive. Timo Aumayer had a equalizer on his head after a cross from Kornprobsts, but the ball narrowly missed the post (57 '). There were also two shots from outside the sixteen.
Joker Rexhepi equalized
"We noticed that something was going to work," said Ahammer. In the 76th minute, ASV coach Miridon Rexhepi came on for the exhausted grain sample. Three minutes later, Bergner was played in the penalty area by Aumayer. He laid across to Joker Rexhepi, who put his foot out and scored to 1-1.
After that, Natzer made his two big appearances: first he thwarted a good chance of the guests, then he parried Bittner's 911 - and saved the point for the ASV. “Hendrik did a good job and his share of the point. But I cannot and do not want to highlight anyone, because everyone played well today, ”summed up Ahammer. Then he added: “We saw that the fitness was right and that our squad was so wide that we could handle five failures. The game is better, but today it was extremely important to win the points. ”
