The stadium will be empty. The PSG-Dortmund football match, scheduled for Wednesday, will be played behind closed doors because of measures put in place to combat the spread of the Covid-19 coronavirus.
The prefecture of police announced it on Twitter.

- Police Prefecture (@prefpolice) March 9, 2020The decision was made Monday morning during a meeting at the Sports Ministry, chaired by Minister Roxana Maracineanu.
PSG will therefore play its qualification for the quarter-finals of the Champions League, the most prestigious of European club competitions, without the support of its supporters. Beaten 2-1 in the first leg in Germany, PSG have about a 50% chance of qualifying, according to statistics.
From a technical point of view, the meeting was used in particular to consider all the solutions for the sports competitions of the week gathering a large audience, such as the PSG match, the next championship day or the rugby match next weekend between France and Ireland. The final decision rests with the Prefect of Police, after consultation with the Director of Sports.
A first since 2010
The possibility of a closed session has been discussed for several days. It became almost certain on Sunday evening with the introduction of a limit of 1000 people for all gatherings, except for transport, contests and events.

It will be the first match behind closed doors in ten years at the Parc des Princes. The last time, on March 28, 2010, Qatar was not yet the owner of the capital's club. It was a championship match against Boulogne-sur-Mer. The decision was made after incidents against Olympique de Marseille.
