Following the spread of the Corona in the boot country, the Italian Olympic Committee demands to cancel all local sporting events by April 3 • This decision has no effect on international competitions (Champions League and Euroleague)

The Italian Olympic Committee demands that all sporting events in Italy be abolished by 3 April. This demand that was released this evening (Monday) still needs the approval of the Italian government, which should issue a decree on the issue to allow the cancellation of all local leagues, in all sports.
It should be noted that this decision has no impact on international competitions such as the Champions League games and the Euroleague games. Italy, it will be recalled, is the European country most exposed to the Corona virus, with thousands of infected people and close to 400 patients who died as a result of the virus complications.
The series games as well as other ball games are held without a crowd, but now the Italian Olympic Committee is also seeking to eliminate them altogether.
All of this connects to steps taken elsewhere on the continent. Paris announced earlier today that the interplay of the Champions League eighth final between Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund will be held without a crowd.
