Bad Heilbrunn - Previously, he and his colleagues awarded the decision in the trend-setting Landesliga game yesterday afternoon several times. But the previous table neighbor also had some options to compensate in a short printing phase. Therefore, the hosts fell a stone from the heart after the winning goal in a heated game. "An important victory, we withstood the pressure and came in well after the winter break", HSV trainer Walter Lang is pleased.
Before that, however, he had other concerns. Because he had to change the team that was supposed to retaliate for the 1: 2 first leg defeat three times: When warming up, the tweaking thigh reported again to Anton Pappritz. Lang switched the defense. Right-back Markus Petzold was in danger after ten minutes to see the second yellow card and was replaced by Thomas Forster. Then it also drove Peter Auer in the thigh - Lang brought Max Schmid, so that all three new entries were already in use. Felix Gellner drew attention to himself with a few good chances, especially in the early stages, but later became more and more stuck, but showed untiring commitment.

Herz should help out in an emergency if Christoph Hüttl had to be replaced. However, he did his job reliably against Olching - if he was required. That was not the case at first, because Heilbrunn dominated the game, had many promotions and put Olching under pressure with early pressing. The lead - Anton Krinner confidently converted a penalty kick - fell deserved.

Lang had nothing to reproach his team with - good defense, many chances, worked until they dropped - except that they were too busy with the referee in an emotionally charged game with lots of discussions and a few yellow cards. However, that was not the reason for the equalization that fell shortly before the break. Franz Rathmann had run free on the left, made the ball into the goal after a corner from a suspicious position, Hüttl could no longer defend himself decisively. "It was more or less the only Olchinger shot on goal," says Lang. "And after the break we stayed calmer - in contrast to the opponent." Consequently, Anton Krinner - so far not noticed as a ball monster - increased to 2: 1 after Max Specker's precise passing by head.
However, it remained exciting. Heilbrunn let himself be pushed a little behind. First, the HSV players had to pay tribute to the effort. Second, Olching, for whom victory would have been just as important, put tremendous pressure on. "We were lucky two or three times," admits Lang. Captain Sebastian Mertens almost deflected a cross into his own goal. However, most of the Olching attacks were well defended by Heilbrunn, or the guests aimed far past. Shortly before the end, Olching also decimated himself when Roman Fuchs and then substitute Luis Wagner saw red. After another Gellner chance, the ball landed in the third set for the decisive 3-1 on the net.
