The coronavirus continues to do damage in the world of sport. While the Indian Wells tennis tournament has just been canceled due to the epidemic, other events could soon be affected as well. This is particularly the case for the knockout round of the Champions League PSG scheduled for Wednesday. If the meeting should be played well, the trend would indeed be behind closed doors even if no final decision has yet been made. The PSG has not yet announced anything, but the Minister of Health Olivier Véran said yesterday evening, the ban in France of gatherings of more than 1000 people. A decision making it difficult to envisage the presence of the public in the spans of the Parc des Princes on Wednesday.
Just beaten by Scotland, the French team, however, may not have the opportunity to play their last game in the Six Nations Tournament this weekend. Scheduled Saturday, France-Ireland should indeed be postponed to a date still uncertain.
