The start from the winter break for TSV Jetzendorf could not have gone much better. The green-whites won the basement duel against the bottom of the table SpVgg Kaufbeuren 1-0 and made contact with the non-relegation places. Winter access Max Kreitmair reported back the way he had left TSV almost four years ago.
On May 21, 2016, Kreitmair last appeared for Jetzendorfer. On the last day of the district league season 2015/2016, he contributed a goal to the 2-1 victory against SV Lohhof. Then he switched to ASV Dachau, from there to SV Heimstetten and via the detour ASV back to Jetzendorf. "We are happy that he is back home," said player coach Alexander Schäffler. And obviously Kreitmair too. He came back with a strong performance - including goal of the day in the 64th minute.
Jetzendorf created many chances in the first half
Coach Schäffler had made his team more aggressive than before the winter break. Against the bottom of the list from Kaufbeuren, the newcomer was the team with the better chances. Martin Schröder had the first two degrees of the home team (1st / 9th). Kaufbeuren lurked on the counter. The first possibility of the Allgäu was then preceded by a ball win including a quick changeover game (13th). “You stood in the back. We don't really like that, ”said TSV spokesman Manfred Zeindl.
In their first competitive game in 2020, the Jetzendorfern managed to gain opportunities despite the opponent's compact defensive. Ludwig Dietrich (18.), Kreitmair after a solo (34.), Stefan Nefzger (41.) and Ivan Rakonic per head (43.) had opportunities to take the lead, but moved or failed due to SpVgg goalkeeper Frank Schmitt. “Not everything was good in terms of play, but we had chances. It wasn't that wrong. We just have to become more efficient, ”says Zeindl.

Even after the change of sides, the green-whites were careless about their chances of scoring. Nefzger (47.) and Dietrich (52.) came close to the 1-0. Then Kreitmair had two top chances: first he came free after a free kick in front of Schmitt, but missed the mark (59.), then he failed due to purchase rating goalkeeper (62.). A minute later, the 26-year-old then showed his class: he stood to the side of the goal and while everyone - including SpVgg keeper Schmitt - expected a cross, Kreitmair shot the ball from seven meters into the box. "It was an impossible angle. Putting it in was significantly more difficult than with the two opportunities before, ”said Zeindl.
In the 71st minute, the Jetzendorfer was lucky that the guests did not punish a loss of ball on the sixteen. Then the TSV had to tremble because the substituted Rene Hamann (76th) and Dominik Liebl (85th) gave further chances. It did not take revenge. Minutes later, the fifth Jetzendorfer state league victory was bagged.
