The A-Classist TV Stockdorf would have started the second half of the week at SC Unterpfaffenhofen-Germering II. The coach sees his team on the right track.

Stockdorf - In the first competitive game of the year it will be for the football players of TV Stockdorf Ernst. "We have to show that we can grab an opponent like this," says Korbinian Halmich. The coach could be quite satisfied with the performance of his team in the first half of the A-Class 2. The gymnasts are in second place and have their goal ascent firmly in view. Before the winter break, the TVS also had a weak point: the direct duels against competitors in the title fight. One of these is due again in a week on Sunday when SC Unterpfaffenhofen-Germering II makes its appearance on Maria-Eich-Straße. "It will be a yardstick," says Halmich. "Then we'll see how far we are."
The first test games didn't go well
After the first test games of preparation, the trainer did not yet think his team was in a condition to beat the fear opponent from Unterpfaffenhofen - record since 2012: zero wins, one draw, four defeats, 2:10 goals. Halmich was not, however, disturbed by this. After all, in the early weeks of winter preparation, it was hardly possible to practice on grass since mid-February due to the weather. In this phase, the coach focused on fitness and strength. The closer the first league game gets, the more Halmich sees his men "on the right track". He is confident about the second half of the season.
Three training sessions a week
Especially since the Stockdorfer have been working hard since they can train with the ball. Halmich currently sets three units a week and places particular emphasis on tactics and playful development. "The automatisms are not yet fully effective," says the TVS trainer, but emphasizes: "We will surely get it right." The first successes were shown in the preparatory games, among other things in standard situations, which the A-Classist converted into goals several times. Halmich says that it is nice to see when the rehearsed variants work.
All in all, the coach can be satisfied with the winter preparation. He only struggles with the condition of the training ground, which should hopefully improve as part of a major renovation “in April” (Halmich). “We have to bite the bullet for so long,” says the Stockdorf trainer.
Only newcomer injured
The only newcomer to the gymnast has not yet had to get a picture of the ailing area behind the clubhouse. If he had been able to choose, Kevin Negret would have preferred the training sessions on uneven ground to the injury that has put him out of action since January. "We hope that he will be fit again in the middle of the second half of the season," says Halmich. Midfielder Negret comes from TSV Neuried, where he was used for years in the state and district leagues. The 25-year-old, who has never played lower than the district class in the men's division, should be a real reinforcement for the A-Classists. Stockdorf's only departure during the winter break is Bruno Mikic, who moved to Bayreuth to study. The 20-year-old defensive player would have been unusable in the near future anyway due to a cruciate ligament tear.
