Turbulent in Hapoel Tel Aviv. After the club's management announced that it was spending all players on a free holiday, after the parties failed to reach a 50% cross-sectional cut, the Reds appear to be imposing a cut on the team's foreign players as well.
Israel Today announced for the first time that the club's management has issued official letters to two of the team's foreign players, Interview Firsman and Felipe Rodrigues, in which it announces that the parties' contract of contract is canceled because of the "Corona crisis is a global crisis," as the letter states.
The letter said: "In light of the situation, we are forced to update you on the cancellation of our employment contract. You are requested to leave Israel as soon as possible before Israel closes its outbound flights. The apartment you use. "

As is well known, by law, foreign players cannot be taken on leave without pay, so this kind of notice, which basically constitutes a unilateral cancellation of the contract, is probably a breach of contract by the Reds. The letter in question was sent to the players two days ago and at this stage it is unclear whether the management intends to take similar steps with the other foreigners - Emanuel Boateng, Michael Oulha and Stefan Spirovsky.
Hapoel Tel Aviv chose not to comment officially, but a club official said on the subject: "This is a technical mistake, we apologized to the players and made it clear to them that they were not released."
