In 2019, 307 sports structures in 47 disciplines responded to the Responsible Sport call. For eight years, this approach initiated by Generali France has put forward amateur and professional sports clubs whose initiatives correlate with the six points of the Responsible Sport charter: eco-responsibility, health and well-being, education and integration, fair play and citizenship, diversity and accessibility for all.
Despite the confinement due to the coronavirus epidemic which affects France, Sébastien Chabal, president of the jury and the Generali France teams have all the same awarded the Trophies for Responsible Sport at a distance. Grenoble Métropole 38 Eybens Formation, the Chantilly golf course, Cheval Espérance at Bois-Guillaume in Normandy, the Vouglans rowing club in the Jura, Rouen sapins FC, Colossus with clay feet, and Parkour 59 were rewarded . The French Badminton Federation also received the trophy of the "Federation engaged".
“We have also rewarded great structural initiatives which come from all over France. They are put in place thanks to a lot of will and desire. We can be proud to have honored such fine examples in sport. Responsible Sport is an initiative that has spread since its creation in 2011 and it is really a good thing. In a difficult current context in France, discovering these good practices is a welcome relief, ”said Sébastien Chabal.
