The English Premier League Football Association announced that the league that is currently suspended due to the outbreak of the Corona virus, will not resume its activities in next May, except in safe and appropriate conditions, indicating that it will consult with the players about reducing salaries by 30 percent.
The association said in a statement carried by Reuters that the previous target date for the return of matches in early May is not possible, indicating that the date for the resumption of activity remains under continuous review.
The association added, "Any return to the competitions will only take place with the full support of the government and the approval of the medical authorities."
