The Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris, which was to take place on Sunday, has been postponed to October 18 due to measures linked to the Covid-19 epidemic. However, some runners will wear the colors of the Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque association and have decided to run the marathon from their place of confinement. Among the people who mobilized Sunday, if Thibaut is in his 8th marathon, some try the experience for the first time. This is the case of Julien, Foucauld, Lydwine and Mathis, who come from the four corners of France. They will take up this major challenge on Sunday from 9 a.m. and their performances will be broadcast live on social networks.
A solidarity kitty for heart children
More than 70 runners were to run the 42,195 km of the marathon this Sunday. Several months ago, they opened a kitty to collect donations for children with heart disease. Until October 18, they continue to mobilize: nearly 42,000 euros have already been collected thanks to them, enough to finance the operations of three children.
