Radomir Antich, the legendary coach who coached at Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, died at the age of 71, the circumstances are unknown. The Serbian is remembered as a coach who brought Avi Nemani to Atletico Madrid, coached for five seasons, and won the historic double in the 1995/96 season.
"This is a sad day for the world of football. A great man has left us," Athletic Madrid president Enrique Sarso said. "The championship and the King's Cup he took with us will remain in our memory forever. It was a privilege to share the football game with him, our thoughts with his family."
Throughout his long tenure in Spain, Antich also coached Real Zaragoza, Real Oviedo and Salta Vigo.
