Liverpool reiterated it from last week's decision to bring out about 200 employees of the club for free leave, after prompting harsh criticism of the club's captains.
The person who made the most criticism was past actor and mythological captain Jamie Kragger who wrote a poignant post on social networks. "Jürgen Klopp showed compassion for everyone at the beginning of the epidemic, senior players in the Premier League cut wages. And then all the respect and reputation of the club go down the drain. It's a shame," said Krager.
But tonight (two) the club's leaders decided to change their direction and back from the decision. "We believe we reached the wrong conclusion last week, and we regret it," CEO Peter Moore wrote in a letter to fans.
