Unterhaching - defense veteran Alexander Winkler is leaving SpVgg Unterhaching at the end of the season. After five years, the 28-year-old turns his back on the suburb free of charge and moves to Kaiserslautern.

1. FC Kaiserslautern will secure the services of the defender for the upcoming 2020/21 season, as the “red devils” announced on Maundy Thursday. Born in Munich, he moved to the Palatinate after many years at SpVgg Unterhaching.
Winkler has been playing at SpVgg Unterhaching since he was a youth and has developed into an undisputed regular player after his interim positions, SV Wacker Burghausen and SpVgg Neckarelz. The defense strategist has played in 90 third division games (two goals) and 71 regional league games (five goals).
