This year, Mirror Football organized a Premier League World Cup to define the best player in the English league. This competition, which opposed 32 great players having evolved in England, saw its great champion crowned: Thierry Henry. Indeed, the French won the final against Ryan Giggs hands down with 82% of the vote.

A pillar of Arsenal's attack between 1999 and 2007, and back on loan during the 2011-2012 season, Thierry Henry won two Premier League titles and two FA Cups with the Gunners. Under the direction of Arsène Wenger, the former French international scored 175 goals, some of which have marked the history of football.
Second place for Giggs
Despite his 13 league titles during his playing career, Welshman Ryan Giggs has to settle for a silver medal. The Manchester United legend, who still holds the record for appearance in the Red Devils' jersey, was part of the Mancunian staff before taking charge of the Wales national team.
