Diego Maradona flies to the aid of Ronaldinho: "He is not a criminal"

Confined to his villa in Buenos Aires, Diego Maradona gave an interview to  El Dia . He tells in particular how he takes advantage of this period to continue the rehabilitation of his knee. But he also commented on the legal stories Ronaldinho is going through: “It made me sad. He is not a criminal, he just went to work. Her mistake is to be an idol. He is my friend and I will support him until death. ”

Arrested, incarcerated and under house arrest

Indeed, the legend of the football Ronaldinho and his brother were arrested on March 6 in Asunción, accused of entering Paraguay with false passports. They had arrived two days earlier in the Paraguayan capital to promote a book and participate in charitable operations. After a month of imprisonment, the two Brazilians were placed under house arrest in a hotel in the Paraguayan capital by court order.
