Every day, Le Parisien is mobilized to answer your questions around the coronavirus. We are interested today in the questioning of Alain, who asks us if it will be possible to (re) play tennis and golf at the time of deconfinement.
Yes, from May 11, tennis and golf will be allowed again. They are part of "outdoor activities" for which "a sufficient physical distance of about 4m²" will nevertheless be imposed, said the Minister of Sports on April 30. They can be practiced "without limitation of duration of practice", "without certificate", "within a limit of distance from home less than 100 km", and "by limiting gatherings to 10 people maximum".
Be careful however, the ministry specifies on its site that "additional specifications depending on the activities will be provided soon".
So much for the theory. In practice, playing tennis or golf requires being able to go to a court or an open field. For the moment, for example, the tennis courts of the city of Paris and reservations are "closed until further notice", and no date for resumption has been given.
The Golf de Paris, located in the heart of the Saint-Cloud racecourse, is also closed "for an indefinite period". It is not yet known if they will reopen on May 11.
