“Athletes, professional or not, from non-individual disciplines, are authorized, like all citizens, to exercise in public or private spaces, while respecting the rules of social distancing of at least two meters, thus that the prohibition of any assembly ”, according to a decree of the Ministry of the Interior. Training sessions must be held "in camera".

Several 1st division football clubs, such as Roma, Parma, Bologna and even Sassuolo had announced their desire to open their pitches for their players who so wished. Sassuolo had however specified that his changing rooms, gymnasiums and administrative premises would remain inaccessible. A government decision is awaited as for a resumption or not of the Championship of Italy, interrupted since March 9, while there are twelve days to go. The twenty Serie A clubs have repeatedly stated their intention to complete the current exercise, but the Minister of Sports Vincenzo Spadafora warned that the path was "becoming narrower".
