Madrid-SANA

Barcelona announced the return of the first team players to training after a long absence due to a health ban imposed to limit the spread of the new Corona virus.

The Catalan club said in a statement: "The first team will return to training on Friday individually after the protocol established by the League, and the training session will take place at 9:30 am CET in the sports city of Juan Gamper."

The statement added: "Tito Villanova training ground, the second stadium and the third stadium will be used where the players will be divided so that they have enough space to conduct the exercises and maintain the safe distance stipulated by the health authorities."

The statement concluded: The players will arrive at the club's facilities wearing their training kits in order to enter directly into the training ground and once the training ends, they will return directly to the home without entering the changing room.

The Spanish League announced last Monday that all clubs will start testing their players this week within the first stage of a protocol that includes four stages to resume matches without fans in June.
