Madrid-SANA
Barcelona's women's football team officially crowned the Spanish League title today after the local Football Association's executive committee agreed to cancel all non-professional competitions due to the Covid 19 epidemic.
Reuters quoted Al-Ittihad as saying in a statement that the committee approved all decisions taken by the Foundation on Wednesday, which also means that there is no relegation from the League of Women lights or the second and third degrees of men's football.
The statement added that there will be an ascension to the men's second division league and the women's limelight through clashes that will take place without fans.
Barcelona were nine points ahead of second-placed Atletico Madrid before the competition was suspended in March due to the epidemic nine rounds before the end.
Atletico will join Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League next season, while the two leaders, Valencia and Espanyol, will be relegated to relegation.
