Friday morning, a surfer had identified Kylian Mbappé on a Twitter post telling the story of Louïss, 8, suffering from a relapse for brain cancer, who dreams of meeting his idol. The message had been shared more than 2,700 times and had collected 3,700 likes, enough for the Parisian winger to hear of the story and respond with a video supporting the little boy.
Thanks to @KMbappe for this beautiful gesture you are a great gentleman and to the town hall of Bondy and to @ benmendy23 also https://t.co/2ilG1eYPScpic.twitter.com/sX7Hdp8afE
- Ibracadabra® (@ ibracadabra_77) May 8, 2020"I come to give you my full support in this difficult event," said the recent French champion with PSG, "I know you will get by. You have all my admiration. You are a big boy, brave and I am sure you will get by. I give you lots of big kisses and I hope to see you as soon as possible. Take care of yourself." Benjamin Mendy, the Manchester City side, and the Mayor of Bondy, Sylvie Thomassin, also supported the young boy.
Waiting to see him on the ground
This is not the first time that the young man has made a video like this after being arrested on social networks. From a sporting point of view, Kylian Mbappé, after being crowned champion of France for the fourth consecutive time (three with PSG) and top scorer in Ligue 1 (tied with Wissam Ben Yedder), will a priori not be back on the field before August (if the UEFA project concerning the Champions League is successful) or even September and the start of the 2020-2021 Ligue 1 season.
