Berlin (AP) - Renault driver Daniel Ricciardo believes that the first Formula 1 race after the Corona forced break will be chaotic. It would take the drivers some time to get back into racing mode.

There have been no races in seven months, the first ten races of the season have been postponed or canceled. There will be "some form of chaos, hopefully in a controlled manner," the 30-year-old told BBC Radio. "I don't necessarily refer to the cars. But there will be a lot of rust, a combination of emotions, excitement and zeal."

The Formula 1 bosses are planning to start the new season with a ghost race on July 5 in Austria. In July it would have been four months since the Formula 1 drivers last sat in their racing cars for tests. Certain drivers are certainly more excited than others, Ricciardo said. "So we'll see some brave overtaking maneuvers, some miscalculated. We're going to see a little bit of everything, I'm sure," said the Australian, who has won seven Grand Prix so far. He believes that experienced drivers will have a slight advantage: "The rookies, the boys in the first and second year, will feel it a little bit more."
