"Avoid spitting saliva". The DFL recommends this to the professionals in a circular on the ghost games. Just a detail of a master plan that clubs have to implement with great effort.

Frankfurt / Main (dpa) - Just don't go wrong! Before the first ghost games this weekend, the clubs of the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga received a 35-page paper from the German Football League stating which preventive and hygienic measures are to be implemented.

A Herculean task - and many are afraid of making mistakes in the face of the socially charged debate. "Only with the highest degree of discipline and meticulousness will we be able to achieve our common goal, the season finale 2019/20," warns the DFL in the "Organization Circular Special Game Operation".

It goes without saying that all official orders must be followed, it continues. The German Press Agency lists the most important points from the organizational plan - in addition to the medical concept of the task force and the manual for diagnostics and monitoring, the third pillar of the seasonal continuation.

ORGANIZATION MANAGEMENT: The DFL recommends that the event manager, as supervisor, be given overall responsibility for the coordination of all organizational and operational tasks. He is also the first point of contact for the hygiene officer.

FORMALIES: Before a match day, the hygiene officer must submit a completed form to the DFL by 10:30 a.m. at the latest. In doing so, he confirms that all persons who have submitted to the monitoring plan and who have undergone the monitoring concept were tested negative for the corona virus on the previous day. If the message is not available, the Diagnostics Project Group recommends stopping the game - because of the health risks.

ARRIVAL OF THE TEAMS: Takes place in several buses due to the distance regulations. Home team players should - preferably individually - come in cars.

PERSONS IN THE STADIUM: The arenas are divided into three zones: the interior of the stadium (including the playing field, player tunnel and cabins), the grandstand and the outside of the stadium. The host club must ensure that a maximum of around 300 people are present on the entire site at the same time. In each zone, a maximum of about 100 people may be at the same time, in the interior, in addition to the players, substitutes and referees, only ten members of the function teams, four ball boys (with mouth and nose protection), three photographers, four medics, four files, 15 people from the TV signal, video evidence and data collection. Fans are not allowed in any of the three zones. The home club on the stadium grounds is responsible for this. During the game there are also two doping controllers in the stands who have access to the control rooms. Greenkeepers are allowed on the grass before and after the game and at half-time.

CABIN LIFE: As many rooms as possible should be made available - to keep the minimum distances - and disinfected in between.

TEAM INLET: The teams come onto the field separately, also from the referee team. No enemies, no mascots, no line-up and - important for the captains - no handshake when choosing a place.

ON THE BANK: Only every second to third place can be filled. Additional seating and plexiglass separations are provided. All people must wear a mask. The trainer may remove the nose and mouth protection for calling instructions - provided that he maintains a minimum distance of 1.50 meters from all other people. Substitute players do not need to use a mask when warming up.

BEHAVIOR AT THE GAME: Cheering, clapping and hugging together should be avoided. Short elbow or foot contact is allowed. Substitution and exchange without clapping. No pack formation, just personalized drinking bottles. And: "Avoid spitting saliva," it says.

AFTER THE WHITLE: The usual press conferences with the coaches take place digitally. There are only a few interviews - taking hygiene requirements into account.

MOOD: A simulation of the stadium atmosphere has to be avoided - for example, fans cheering off the assembly line at gates. Gate and run-in music are permitted. The empty stands may not be used for large-scale advertising. Cardboard figures or fan banners are allowed if the hygiene concept is taken into account when setting up and hanging.
