Berlin (AP) - German tennis aces Alexander Zverev and Julia Görges will play two short tournaments in Berlin in July.
On the one hand, the game will be played on the lawn in the Steffi Graf Stadium from July 13th to 15th, on the other hand in the hangar on Tempelhofer Feld from July 17th to 19th. "Six women and six men will take part in the event," said organizer Edwin Weindorfer. The "Bild" newspaper had previously reported on the plans.
In addition to Zverev, the men included the third in the world rankings Dominic Thiem from Austria and the Australian Nick Kyrgios. In addition to Julia Görges, Andrea Petkovic and the fifth in the world rankings Jelina Switolina from Ukraine are also to compete for the women. Due to the corona virus pandemic, both tournaments are currently played without spectators.
