Maccabi Tel Aviv and Nate Walters officially concluded on Sunday the end of the club's path. "Maccabi would like to thank Knight for the professionalism, investment and commitment during his time in the yellow-blue uniform and wish him success later on," the official statement from the group said.
Walters was the Yellows 'first signing last summer and fitted out well with Janis Spropoulos' roster. He started the season strong and scored an average of 10.4 points per game in the first eight Euroleague cycles.
Unfortunately, Walters was injured several times during the season, with the last injury being a shoulder rupture that forced him to undergo a relatively appealing rehabilitation period. All this time he remained in Israel and continued to work to return to the fields, even in the wake of the season's halt due to the Corona epidemic, until several weeks ago he returned to his home in the United States.
