Gelsenkirchen (dpa) - Sports director Jochen Schneider has sharply criticized his team after three recent Bundesliga defeats by FC Schalke 04.
"With all due respect, we lost to Augsburg, Düsseldorf and Bremen in a week," said the 49-year-old to "Sport Bild". "Until then Augsburg was the team with the fewest points in the second half of the season, Dusseldorf in table 16 and Werder in table 17. We have to be aware of the situation and stop being the victim of the Bundesliga," complained Schneider. The Royal Blues have been waiting for a win for twelve league games and most recently won in January. The club is tenth in the league.
