Heidenheim (dpa) - 1. FC Heidenheim sees Hamburger SV and VfB Stuttgart in greater pressure to succeed in the promotional race of the 2nd Bundesliga.
"The pressure to have to rise is of course there at these clubs," said Heidenheim coach Frank Schmidt of the German Press Agency. "But do not think that everyone in Heidenheim is satisfied that we are fourth. It is not the case that we are in our arms here every day."
With one point behind the third-placed HSV and three points behind the second-placed VfB, the FCH still has every chance of promotion in the remaining five games - especially since Schmidt's team still received the Hamburg team on the penultimate matchday. "We are more relaxed and don't drive ourselves so crazy. Stuttgart CEO Thomas Hitzlsperger said yes, no game should be lost. It's a bit different for us," said the 46-year-old. "It might be normal, but we definitely don't want it."
