Berlin (dpa) - Despite the initial effort, FC Bayern has taken the next step to the eighth championship series with a sovereign victory at Bayer Leverkusen.
Munich won 4: 2 (3: 1) on Saturday after 0-1 deficit. RB Leipzig received the equalizer late in the 1-0 (1-0) against the last SC Paderborn on matchday 30 of the Bundesliga. In the relegation battle, Fortuna Dusseldorf did not go beyond a 2: 2 (1: 1) against TSG Hoffenheim despite being outnumbered and leading. FSV Mainz won an important victory with a 2-0 (1-0) derby at Eintracht Frankfurt.
The game started with an early shock for the Munich team. Lucas Alario took the Werkself, who had to do without injured Kai Havertz at short notice, into the lead (9th minute). But Kingsley Coman (27.), Leon Goretzka (42.) and Serge Gnabry (45.) turned the game. Robert Lewandowski increased (66.), Florian Wirtz shortened (89.). Hoffenheim equalized through Munas Dabbur (16.), Hennings goal was not given according to video evidence. Hoffenheim's Steven Zuber (61.) and again Hennings (77.) scored in the second half.
