Munich - FCB is on the verge of its eighth German championship in a row.

So far so good. But: Bayern coach Hansi Flick has to contend with a series of failures before the Bundesliga cracker against Gladbach (Saturday, 6.30 p.m., here in the live ticker). This makes his business games more difficult - we have thought about the expected line-up of the Munich team:

Lineup of FC Bayern against Gladbach: Of course, Manuel Neuer is in the goal

Sven Ulreich is likely to leave the club this season due to Alexander Nübel's transfer. The Swabian would have deserved a farewell game because of his loyalty.

But: The game against Gladbach is too early, FC Bayern is not yet German champion . That's why world champion Manuel Neuer will once again stand between the posts against Borussia .

FC Bayern lineup: Lucas Hernández probably doesn't get a chance

National player is also Niklas Süle - according to Flick, the defense chief will soon be able to make a comeback after surviving a cruciate ligament tear. But not against the "foals", next week the Hesse should start in team training.

He will face a defensive that has taken hold in his absence: with Benjamin Pavard on the right, Jerome Boateng and David Alaba in central defense and Alphonso Davies on the left. Bad for 80 million man Lucas Hernández.

Lineup of FC Bayern against Gladbach: Thiago is definitely missing in midfield

In the (offensive) midfield several players are missing injured: Corentin Tolisso and Philippe Coutinho, now Thiago also joined. In addition, Thomas Müller may not participate in his position between the eight and ten, as the Upper Bavarian is blocked by yellow.

The trio with the seeded Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka and Müller is blown up.

After a long time that could mean the chance for veteran Javi Martinez to play from the beginning - or even for the so far hapless Michael Cuisance against ex-club Gladbach?

Lineup of FC Bayern against Gladbach: Zirkzee in the storm for Lewandowski?

In the attack it also looked better in terms of personnel: Robert Lewandowski also has to pause because of his fifth yellow card, Serge Gnabry is questionable because of a bruised back.

#Flick zu @JoshuaZirkzee: "He is a good size and is still very agile, has a good finish and holds the ball well. These are the things you need as a striker with us. He is on the right track and for tomorrow certainly a good alternative. " #FCBBMG pic.twitter.com/Y0Jqk5IBaa

At the press conference for the game, Bayern coach youngster Joshua Zirkzee promised to play in the starting lineup: “Joshua is a good size for a striker, but is still agile and technically good. What he does well is how he claims and shields the ball. A central striker must be able to do that. He is on the right track and an absolute alternative for tomorrow. I am happy when you can give a young player the chance to play in a game like Gladbach. ”
