The Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhi announced the resumption of football activity in the country on the twentieth of this month, while adhering to the procedures to prevent the emerging corona virus.
The Egyptian website "Akhbar Al-Youm" portal quoted Subhi as saying during a press conference today that the government agreed to restore the league and restore competitions with full precautionary measures in the twentieth of this month and to allow the start of official football competitions on the twenty-fifth of next July.
Yesterday, the Egyptian Ministry of Health recorded 91 deaths and 1,618 cases of the emerging coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections to 44,598 and the deaths to 1,575.
